Quiet & Portable

Quiet & Portable - silent travel guitar for gypsy swing player

This is the world's first backpacker gypsyguitar for the travelling guitar player. Playing feel is the same as any high end Selmer replica, because it has the exact same dimensions and levels of body edges, -as for instance the AJL 503: same depth, width and scale and the typical comfortable AJL neck. -but everything else is left off !

BUT this guitar is ultra silent, because there's no sound chamber. Plus, it's extremely portable: just dismantle it by loosing a couple of thumbwheel screws and removing the string loops and it fits in your hand luggage. It's that simple, no tools needed. Assembling it back is just as easy.

With such a silent guitar you can play all night long without disturbing anybody. Should you need more volume, -just plug it in and start jamming: there's a bigtone piezo pickup installed in the bridge. And the "soundhole" is carved to allow quick installing of a magnetic pickup type Stimer etc, if you prefer Django's electric tone. You can really crank the volume up to 11 if you need: no sound chamber means no feedback problems!
